Course Summary

Crystalline silica is a very common naturally occurring mineral. Exposure to respirable crystalline silica (RCS) can lead to serious, and often fatal, disease. Many workers are exposed to RCS in their workplaces. The application of practicable and appropriate control measures based upon a suitable risk assessment will significantly reduce the incidence of RCS associated disease.
